Photointerpretation & Remote Sensing

Remote sensing analyzes and interprets information from images taken from various sensors (satellites, UAVs, etc.) which are not limited to the visible spectrum of light.

Photointerpretation is a subcategory of remote sensing in which an image, taken at a specific place in time and in the visible spectrum of light, is interpreted in terms of its features.

The main applications of the above methods are related to land use and land cover mapping and, also, the calculation of quantitative indicators and models which contribute to the monitoring and management of the agricultural and urban environment.

TOPODOMIKI over time has carried out a plethora of photo interpretational studies with the aim of drawing diachronic conclusions and has access to the required equipment for conducting photo interpretational and remote sensing studies of any kind.
